Terms of Use

Effective date: May 4, 2026 · Working brand placeholder; legal entity TBD prior to public launch

By using PatrolForce, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. The service

PatrolForce dispatches a licensed security guard to your registered address when you trigger the panic button in the iOS app. We aim for arrival within 3-5 minutes during your zone's coverage hours. PatrolForce is deterrence and response coordination — we are not a substitute for police, fire, or medical emergency services.

In a life-threatening emergency, call 911 first. Triggering PatrolForce's panic button does not automatically dispatch police.

2. Subscription + payment

3. Eligibility + verification

You must be 18 or older and a resident of an address PatrolForce covers. Registration requires uploading a government-issued ID showing your name and the address you're registering. PatrolForce admin reviews this once before activating your account. We may reject registrations where the ID doesn't match the registered address.

PatrolForce allows up to 2 households per address. Contact your zone admin if you need an exception.

4. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

Repeated false alarms may result in account suspension. PatrolForce reserves the right to terminate accounts for material violations of these Terms.

5. Limitations of liability

6. Account deletion

You can delete your account from Profile → "Delete my account" in the iOS app at any time. See the Privacy Policy for what data is retained after deletion (residents: ~30 days for ID; guards: 2 years for legal audit; incident records: anonymised).

7. Guard contractors

PatrolForce guards are paid contractors. Their patrol logs and incident records may be requested by courts, law enforcement, or insurance adjusters in connection with legal proceedings. Per the Privacy Policy §4, guard records are retained for 2 years after employment ends to satisfy audit and legal-discovery requests.

8. Intellectual property

PatrolForce, the PatrolForce name and logo, and the contents of the app and website are the property of the PatrolForce operating entity. You may not use them for commercial purposes without permission.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app at least 14 days in advance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
